Alert border police forces near the Machpelah in Hebron avoided a terror attack on Tuesday morning, 29 Teves 5772.
Soldiers stationed at a checkpoint near the holy site noticed a “suspicious” Arab male about 30. They approached him and instructed him to identify himself, at which time he lunged at them with a knife.
They restrained him and placed him under arrest while avoiding injuries.
