On October 3, 2011, YWN-ISRAEL reported that price tag activists targeted a Galilee area mosque, in the village of Tuba el-Zangaria. Since that attack, which was harshly condemned across the board, by President Shimon Peres, cabinet ministers, members of Knesset, rabbonim and others, it was assumed Jews carried out the attack on the Islamic house of worship. Few maintained the position that for as long as the culprits are not in custody, we cannot know with absolute certainty.
On the day after, October 4th, YWN-ISRAEL reported that Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Shlomo Amar Shlita called for caution, warning the tzibur that “We are not certain Jews had anything to do with the attack”.
The chief rabbi’s words went unheeded and the public accepted reports that the assault against the mosque was the work of radical settler elements, which have come to be known as the ‘price tag’ activists.
Well, at long last, an interview aired over the weekend with a resident of the Arab village revealed the true events, that the attack was perpetrated by an Arab, not a Jew. The interview revealed that twenty hate attacks perpetrated over the past three years were carried out by Arabs, not Jews. The motive is what one would believe, towards inflaming tensions between the Jewish and Arab communities and to portray the Jews in a bad light in the international media.
MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz is calling upon the very same public officials who were quick to condemn Jews to make a public apology, leading the list with none other than Nobel Peace Prize Laureate President Shimon Peres. Ketzaleh called on the political left-wing to join in and humble themselves by apologizing, as well as former Shas leader Aryeh Deri, who spoke out harshly against the Jews responsible for the attacks.

I have questioned since the beginning if it was actually the so-called ‘hill-top’ Jewish youth doing these attacks.
While I can not say with any certainty that NONE of these ‘price-tag’ attacks were done by Jews, I have always wondered how it is possible for Jews to get (undetected) into these small arab villages where everyone knows each other, and be there long enough to paint the graffiti and do the other damage that was done without anyone seeing and catching them.
Now we finally see that at least in a significant number of these cases, it was NOT Jews after all.
Will Peres apologize? Maybe. He is a man known for only opening his mouth to change feet.
But, the next time someone is arrested we will hear the same condemnation and the same bashing. Few will remember that the Israeli police can’t be trusted with anything. Its so sad that we in many ways are our own worst enemies.

the bigger point (in my opinion) is that as usual, whether its about chareidim on one hand or settlers on the other, the attitude is guilty until proven otherwise. but when it comes to the libs and the rot gut of our society then we must wait patiently for a verdict due process etc bla bla bla. somethings will never change. when is the last time a chiloni or arab or anyone of these scum had to give a din vcheshbon for their rotten behavior.? are they ever put on the defensive about anything?much as the arabs can kill jews and its always justified but let a stray bullet kill an arab and immediately there is a demand for a committee to investigate
