An NYPD officer shot an armed thug to death in Brooklyn shortly before 11 p.m. last night, law-enforcement sources said.
The suspect had pointed his weapon at cops who had responded to a home on Schenck Avenue in East New York in response to several 911 calls.
A source said a woman who lived at the address from which the calls came ran to the responding officers as they arrived and told them her husband was being robbed by two men in her home, the sources said.
Moments later, the man with the gun emerged from a driveway alley next to the home and aimed at the officers.
A cop fired one shot, killing the suspect, the source said.
The incident was under investigation early this morning, and detectives were looking for a second suspect.

This may be grist for the NY Post or Daily News…but why here?
Not saying the police are lying, or that it wasn’t a good shoot. But had this happened to a Jew, YWN probably wouldn’t have inserted the word “thug” instead of “man,” and would have gone to no end to stress that the man “allegedly” pointed a gun at the cops.
