Reply To: Who needs ("professional") Shadchanim, anyways?

I think, as MDG and Oomis pointed out, there is obviously a need for professional shadchanim, otherwise they wouldn’t exist. I agree that a shidduch proposed by someone who knows both sides has a better chance of success than if the shadchan knows neither or only one party, but sometimes those suggestions just aren’t being made.
