He says that when one thinks and intends to do a Mitzvah, while doing even the most mundane chore, it uplifts him/her and elevates the act itself. So if you think you’re doing a mitzvah (gmilas chesed) while doing the laundry, it becomes an avodah to HaShem, you become more ‘Shalem’, more perfect. Something worth thing about!!
