Deputy Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman condemned the violent attack against an avreich on Shabbos, a Gerrer chossid in Ashdod. The avreich was attacked by chilonim on Shabbos and hospitalized, listed in light condition on motzei Shabbos. The victim is a resident of the Rova Zayin neighborhood of the city, and he reports a group of non-frum males surrounded him and then beating him.
He managed to flee, running to the home of a nearby United Hatzalah member who treated him. The victim’s father then transported him to an area hospital.
Litzman blames the growing incitement campaign against chareidim, decrying the hate being spewed by the media, warning some public officials that their irresponsible statements are interpreted as a license by some to simply strike out against chareidim at will, calling upon police to treat these attacks as hate crimes and use the full weight of the law to bring the responsible persons to justice.

Treat the chilonim as chreidim throw em in jail and let them sit for days with no reason.
This is getting scary. Someone gotta stop this crazy trend. Who will stand up?
I have a better idea. Invite the Chilonim to sit down and talk. Invite them to classes and Simchas. Thank the Chilonim for what they do, for sending their kids to the Army to protect the country. If they did not do it then the Chereidim would have to go to the Army. For getting up every morning to work, pay taxes, live in Israel and bleed for the State of Israel. Celebrate Yom Hazikoren. Stand with the country for a moment of silence for fallen soldiers. Go to their Simchas. The Chilionim perceive and probably correctly so, the Cheradim are not part of the overall Israeli society and do not care about the country.
Three years ago I was in Israel. I took a taxi to the airport at 4:00 AM. The taxicab driver came from Baghdad n 1948+. I asked him what his kids were doing. He looked at his watch and said that at 3:00 AM, my kids unit was going into Aza. I felt that I was in the Bais Hamikdosh in the Kodesh Hakodshim. The tragedy is that he was sacrificing for the Jewish people and his family was not Frum.
2. You are right but it will take a non shomer Torah u’mitzvos (why mince words??) to have this stop.
It will only stop if you stop the media for keeping up the hatred
a jew- good call
get some balashim to snatch these chilonim for no reason and throw them into jail for no reason after beating them for no reason and maybe theyll understand how it feels.
Alleged spitting on a girl causes the word to go nuts…actual beating nary a comment….
And you still don’t see the extreme bias aginst the chareidim ?!?!?
