i think its because the father is like the king of the house hold.the mother can say, move to a new household, but the ‘king’ will always rule his own household, and ca switch. the mother can. not that women are inferior, but the man is the man OF THE HOUSE. the women can always switch. therefor, the child of the father will always be part of that household. the child of the mother is only a half sibling, because they, along with mother, can switch ‘castles’, while the fathers child is a permanent part of the kings house hold. makes any sense?
