An avreich who learns in the Hariri Kollel in Geneva was targeted in a stabbing attack last Thursday, 29 January 2011, in the Eaux-Vives area of the city.
The victim, who was dressed in chareidi garb, reports a man attacked him with a knife and fled, leaving him bleeding on the street. The victim managed to get to the nearby Best Western Diplomat Hotel, which is located near the beis medrash of HaRav Avraham Yaffe Schlesinger Shlita, the rav of the city. An ambulance was summoned and the victim was transported to hospital.
The victim was released from the hospital on Monday with a healing back injury. Police appear to suspect a German national or an Arab, possibly a foreign worker. Rav Schlesinger stated the attack was undoubtedly an anti-Semitic attack, which he feels is linked to the hate campaign against chareidim in Eretz Yisrael, Chadrei Chareidim reports.

If the attacker was a Non-Jew, how can this be related to the anti-chareidi campaign in Eretz Yisroel.
The attacks started well before the current tummel. First in the US, then in the UK and Belgium. Perhaps Hashem is sending a message regarding living in Galut.
