The wind chill will make it feel zero degrees and colder in portions of the tristate region Tuesday.
Flurries covered Ramsey, New Jersey just in time for the start of the morning commute.
Temperatures were expected to take a tumble making it the coldest day since last February. Expect winds to be sustained between 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph likely, reported the NY Weather Authority .
The low is expected to drop to 16 degrees late Tuesday.
