An indictment was handed down in a Haifa court on Thursday, December 29th, against a 16-year-old Jewish youth who stands accused of vandalizing a vehicle in Akko belonging to an Arab in what appears to be another hate attack.

Police allege the defendant slashed the tires and smashed windows and poured a flammable liquid inside, planning to set the vehicle ablaze.

The prosecution requested the defendant remain behind bars pending the outcome of the trail.
