The Emergency Committee for Israel, a group helmed by conservatives William Kristol and Gary Bauer, is running a full-page ad in The New York Times Thursday accusing President Barack Obama of using the Jewish state as a “punching bag.”
The provocative ad is also running in newspapers in Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles, although the Times one will likely get the most eyeballs.
The spot leads with a line asking in bold type, “Why does the Obama administration treat Israel like a punching bag?”
As a recent piece from The Hill put it, the White House has been putting out “fires on multiple fronts” related to Israel, all the while being slammed over its handling of the Jewish state by the majority of the GOP presidential hopefuls.
There have been a crop of new troublesome headlines for the administration within the past week, all of which came after French President Nicolas Sarkozy was caught on a hot mic calling Benjamin Netanyahu a “liar.”
There were other issues that came up at Saban, including an Israeli media account about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talking about “anti-Democratic” measures in Israel, as The Hill noted. And then there were comments from Howard Gutman, the U.S. ambassador to Belgium, who suggested that the prolonged battle between Israelis and Palestinians is fostering anti-Semitism.

LOLOLOL!!!
Since Avraham Avinu was thrown into the furnace, there has been anti-Semitism!!! But NOW they are blaming it on (us) the VICTIMS, because we don’t want to give away our HOLY Land to the yishmaeli murderers!
What a sick joke!!!
Maybe someone needs to give the ambassador a history lesson, and let him know that arabs were slaughtering Jews in Eretz Yisrael many years before there was even ANY Jewish state at all.
