sometimes it feels unfair in my favor! sure, i have little annoyances & difficulties but so many people have it so much worse. like i’m hogging the easy life while others have to struggle. but i have nothing to do with it & no control – can’t bear someones pain for them. not that i’m asking for hard stuff but i really don’t want others to suffer. & i don’t get those stories of gedolim depriving themselves of something to feel others’ pain – it’s not like it’s taking away from anything, so whats the point??
