Yeshivaworld Launches Text Messaging Group

yw_text new.jpgAfter much deliberation, and many, many requests, Yeshivaworld has decided to launch a text messaging group for those who wish to stay on-top of breaking stories – via their cell phones. We will not be paging entire stories, but just breaking headlines. Before signing up, please make sure that your cell phone plan allows you to receive text messages – without a charge, or you have a substantial amount of free text messages per month – and then sign up.

YW estimates on sending 5 alerts or less each day.

Signing up is real easy.

Simply send an email with your cell phone number to [email protected]. You will then receive a text message to your cellphone with instructions to confirm your subscription.

All it takes is three minutes to sign up – and you can unsubscribe at anytime.

NOTE: This has nothing to do with the current email alert system which is currently in place.

Enjoy!

  6. Just wondering if this service is sent from an email address or a phone number? I blocked all messages from emails because otherwise I receive tons of spam. If anyone received any messages yet, I’d appreciate if you can post a reply.
