And there are plenty of gedolim today who argue on this also. Take Rav Shteinman Reb Mattisyahu Solomon and Rav Chaim Kanievski and Reb Nosson Tzvi Finkel and I do not believe time changed so much since we lost Reb Michel Yehudah.
