While the refusal of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents to get off a bus for inspection as ordered by IDF soldiers is making news, in actuality, no one should be surprised. With government policy tying the hands of soldiers, leftists calling to prosecute soldiers who strike a PA resident, Machsom Watch volunteers reporting soldiers who act inappropriately to Arabs, and a liberal ultra left-wing Supreme Court, the Arabs do get the message, and this was seen on Tuesday, 18 Cheshvan near the Hizme Checkpoint on Jerusalem’s northern border. A number of PA residents reenacted the event that made history in Montgomery Alabama in 1955 with their modern day version of Rosa Parks.
When told to disembark from the bus for inspection, they simply refused, aware the soldiers are basically powerless other than to detain the entire bus and to scream and threaten.
One member of the group, Nadin, told members of the press that this was being done to draw attention to the daily discriminatory practices they are forced to endure. He stressed that settlers travel freely while he and his colleagues are second rate citizens.
This incident ended uneventfully and one can expect more of the same in the coming days and weeks.

IF the bus is crossing an international border, what’s the issue of inspection. If it refuses, they are denied entry. It is an advantage that Israel considers the West Bank to be a foreign country, and therefore the Palestinians who live there have no right of entry into Israeli territory.
How could you compare Rosa Parks to Nadin?? Women didn’t blow themselves up and kill thousands of innocent civilians, the Palestinians do! They disgrace Park’s name by comparing her and her movement to these animals.
“He stressed that settlers travel freely while he and his colleagues are second rate citizens.”
So so so sad. Maybe if yishmaelim acted like normal human beings, and didn’t hide knives and bombs under their clothes they could be treated like normal human beings. But until then… sorry – no rachmanus for the PEREH/adam.
#1 SOUND POLICY except not the policy of the Israeli Government as given down to the IDF.
Thank you akuperma, that’s just what I was going to say. If the arabs won’t cooperate, they can go home. They are not needed in EY!
