A federal appeals court has upheld the controversial Religious Land Use Act, agreeing that the Village of Mamaroneck’s zoning laws cannot be used to block a Jewish school’s new 44,000-square-foot building (original story HERE on YW).
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agrees with a lower court judge, William Conner in White Plains. Conner said Mamaroneck must issue a permit so the Westchester Day School can proceed with an expansion plan that had been turned down by the village.
The 400-student school had challenged the zoning decision in a lawsuit.
Lawyers in the case have said it’s likely to reach the Supreme Court.

Let’s pray that the Yidden will win this one.
Why don’t I see all the “smart” “BNAI TORAH” saying: “Why do you have to tease the Goyim? just stick to yourself and learn Torah” like they side every time with the antisemits when its with Chabad?
