As I pointed out in that thread, I don’t have a Megilla either; for me the extra spent on the better hat is not worthwhile.
I also don’t wear it on the street on a regular basis, you might, so a “better” hat would be worthwhile for you.
I don’t mean to “start up”. Just consider that a Borsilino itself may not be required.
