IAEA Report: Iran’s Reactor To Build A Nuclear Bomb

Iran is already calling the report to be released by the International Atomic Energy Agency a lie, denying the ongoing nuclear program is military in nature. Tehran continues to insist its nuclear enrichment efforts surround the desire to use nuclear technology for medicine and electricity, and not military purposes as Israel has maintained all along, now supported by IAEA inspectors.

The IAEA however paints a different picture, stating the nuclear facility in the Parchin military base; located 30km (18 miles) from Tehran is indeed working to assemble a nuclear bomb.

The report is being completed and it will be subject to the approval of the head of the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukiya Amano. While the United States has known about the bunkers that exist deep underground at least eight years ago, US intelligence reports have repeatedly been at odds with Israeli intelligence experts, with the latter warning of the need to act, stating the “Window of opportunity to prevent a nuclear Iran was rapidly closing” while the US was more laid back, insisting such a reality was years away.

The latest report will include information from leaked document and satellite imagery, which will back up the allegations that the nuclear enrichment taking place on a daily basis is for one reason and one reason only, but build a nuclear bomb.

The White House has recently stepped-up efforts to turn around Russia and China to support stiffer Security Council sanctions, which to date they have opposed, hoping such a reality to be sufficient to prevent an Israeli military assault. The US administration fears Israel may move without prior coordination with the US, or at least that is what is being released to the media.

In Israel, the media frenzy surrounding a possible assault against Iran has led to apocalyptic predictions, warnings of launching WWIII, with experts from around the world commenting on the various scenarios as well. Some American experts, military and others, fear an Israeli assault will lead to unprecedented regional instability.

It does appear that whatever the case, the sand timer is running down and the White House and Israel, or the latter acting alone will have to reach some major decisions in the immediate future as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continues enriching uranium daily, increasing his stockpile towards creating facts on the ground.

Ahmadinejad and senior civilian and military officials in his regime has recently warned Israel and the United States that any preemptive strike would result in a surprise response, one that would deliver a devastating blow.
