On chol hamoed Sukkos, Maran HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita gathered his daughters to discuss the future, realizing that after the petira of his rebitzen, Batsheva Esther Kanievsky ob”m, one of his daughters would have to be chosen to continue her work, meeting with the thousands of women who seek brochos and advice.
The Rav selected Rebitzen Leah, the Rebitzen of his son-in-law Rav Yitzchak Koldotzki Shlita. On Friday, 6 Cheshvan, she began with the regular separating challah for a segula.
Rebitzen Leah has been davening at the Lederman Shul since getting up from shiva to begin meeting with the many women seeking assistance.
On Thursday, she began taking challah, following in the footsteps of her mother ob”m as well as distributing wine that is from siyumim of her father, Maran Rav Kanievsky Shlita.
