The Ministry of Defense has rejected a request for the expansion of a Beit El shul in relation for illegal construction in the community, BaKehilla reports.

The community turned to the Civil Administration two years ago, seeking to lease the land adjacent to the shul. Now, after two years, the Defense Ministry has informed the community it may “no longer continue leasing the land in light of the illegal construction in the community and the local government opting to turn a blind eye”.
