Bnei Brak is known for being counted among the municipalities in Eretz Yisrael with a low crime rate Baruch Hashem. On Wednesday night, eve of 5 Cheshvan, police and Shomrim were summoned to the city’s Satmar neighborhood after reports of suspicious people in the area, hanging around residential buildings.
To the surprise of police, who apprehended one of the suspects, they learned the gang planned a major crime in the city, and towards preparing for their operation they were casing out the area.
Police found two motorcycles stocked with a number of handguns, knives and wool hats, apparently in preparation for their hit. Police report that the preliminary investigation indicates the suspects rented a room three days earlier to permit their continuous surveillance of the community. It is believed they planned to rob a local money changer, one of the larger well known money dealers in the city. Police add the suspect in custody has 274 prior convictions.

274 prior convictions??? Are they ever going to lock him up and throw away the key? Or maybe, next time he can be traded back to the arabs.
274 prior convictions and he is allowed to walk around free? I think this is nuts!!
seems funny maybe there is a typo and it meant 24 or 27.
