Mayor Bloomberg said today that Wall Street isn’t being occupied by protesters, it’s all of downtown Manhattan — and its bad for business.
“You know I think increasingly you’re seeing that communities, businesses and residents in Lower Manhattan feel that they are the ones that are being occupied,” he said. “This isn’t an occupation of Wall Street. It’s an occupation of a growing, vibrant residential neighborhood in Lower Manhattan and it’s really hurting small businesses and families.”
The comments come in response to a Post story today that said Occupy Wall Street demonstrators camped out in Zuccotti Park led to 21 employees of a once-thriving cafe and catering business to lose their jobs because customers had been chased away.
Bloomberg said the protesters are not the only ones with rights.
“I don’t think there’s anybody in this city that has been a stronger [defender] of the First Amendment than this administration and I have been,” he said. “We’ve worked hard to protect the demonstrators’ First Amendment rights, but other people have rights too and I am very concerned about the other peoples’ rights as well as those of the protesters.”

Isn’t this part of bloomberg term limits that he changed himself?
With the anti-semites at this so-called protest, I am not surprised they would want to cause a loss of revenue for a kosher establishment.

So what’s he doing about it? I say, Kick em out. Tell them to “go home and use and the bathroom and shower there. And for crying out loud, go find a job, any job, and make a mensch of yourself!” They don’t even know what they’re asking for, so how can anyone change the situation? It’s beyond pathetic!
Maybe it’s time for Mayor Bloomberg to go see the Wizzard of Oz and ask for a spine. Then he may have the nerve to end this madness.
