Ramat Migron Outpost Destroyed

Border and Yassam police on Tuesday, 4 Cheshvan, destroyed three structures in the Ramat Migron outpost located in the Binyamin Regional Council of Shomron. The troops arrived armed with sledgehammers and began destroying the three buildings. The occupants of the outpost were forcibly removed.

Persons present at the time report police never showed a demolition order, and the commander declared the area a ‘closed military zone’, clearing everyone out and permitting police to get on with razing the structures.

A number of people were arrested, charged with violating a closed military zone.

On Monday, 3 Cheshvan, a scuffle broke out between outpost occupants and Arabs who arrived to harvest olive trees, protected by IDF soldiers. One outpost resident quoted anonymously by Kol Yehudi pointed out it is entirely possible the decision to destroy the structures today, Tuesday, may be a response to the scuffle that took place on Monday.

  1. Where the Arabs find legal standing to land, they aggressively lay stake and get the police to do their dirty work since the police are obligated to uphold the law. And when there is no legal grounds, they use violence against those same police and lawmakers. The yishmaelim are making a mockery of us. Where is the ahm chuchum vinavon?
