Today, November 1st (4 Cheshvan), winter driving regulations go into effect. Motorists driving on highways must have their headlights on during the day. Failure to comply may result in a summons being issued.

Commercial vehicles, emergency vehicles, taxis, buses and two-wheeled vehicles must drive with lights on year round.
