A number of months ago, Eli Hahn of the United States traveled to Eretz Yisrael to receive a bracha from Gedolei Yisrael Shlita.

He began his journey with a visit to Maran HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita, where he was in inspired by the opportunity to meet with the Posek HaDor. On the way out, he was able to take a short video of the Rav learning.

From there, he traveled to Bnei Brak, to HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita, where he also had the opportunity to show Rebitzen Batsheva ob”m the video of her father learning.

According to the Chadrei Chareidim report, the rebitzen was moved and responded in Yiddish איך מיז אויס וייזען פאר ר’ חיים (I must show this to Rav Chaim). The rebitzen entered the room with the camera, giving it to him, saying זיי וי דאר טאטא לערנט, מיט אזה פרישקייט – אין זעט אויס גוט (Look how Abba learns with such enthusiasm. He looks so well).

Apparently, Rav Chaim stopped to look at the video for a few moments, moved by what he saw.
