ok, i am working on the blue eyes one….
so if I see 99 people with blue eyes that night, i dont know if I have blue eyes or not. so I wait to see if anyone else leaves. since no one else leaves (they dont know if they have blue eyes either and they are all waiting to see if anyone leaves). So really all the blue eyed people (100) leave at the same time cuz they realize that no one else left yet that they must have blue eyes. the brown eyed people dont leave cuz they each see 100 people with blue eyes.
so what day did they leave? the 99th day? since two people would look at each other on the first day and not see anyone leave, that they are both blue eyed. then look on the third day at three people and if no one leaves after two days then they have blue eyes. so on the 99th day and no one has left- they have blue eyes and know that there are 100 people there with blue eyes and they all left together.
am i heading on the right track?
