President Shimon Peres on motzei Shabbos received the list of the 1,027 terrorists scheduled to be released in the Gilad Shalit prisoner release. The president must pardon them in order to permit actualizing the prisoner agreement deal.

It is reported that the president will be signing the papers as a matter of routine and he does not plan to delve into the records of each of the terrorists to make a decision on an individual basis.

Information released in Israel on motzei Shabbos indicates Gilad may be home as soon as Tuesday, the 5th day of chol hamoed in Eretz Yisrael.
