Two firebombs hurled at an IDF vehicle traveling south of Shechem

** IDF artillery was fired into Gaza during the afternoon hours numerous PA sources report. There is one fatality reported.

** The heat-wave that has brought soaring temperatures to Israel is expected to break on Tuesday with a sharp drop in temperatures.

** An IDF jeep overturned in the southern district. A chopper was summoned to transport a number of the more seriously injured to the trauma unit of Beersheva’s Soroka Medical Center.

** Police arrested four Arabs in Shomron, near Maale Levona. They were armed with knives and teargas, as well as carrying bills which police believe are counterfeit.

** Two Swastikas were painted on the wall alongside the roadway at Ohalim Jct, a southern entrance into Beersheva on Monday morning. Police are investigating.
