[UPDATES POSTED BELOW STORY] 10:50PM EST: A massive Fire broke out Monday night near the top of a high-rise building under construction in Jersey City at 77 Hudson Street. CMD has ordered a 4th alarm response, and are reporting that the fire has spread between the 9th and 18th floors. A one square block has been evacuated due to falling debris onto other buildings, and due to the threat of a collapse. The flames are visible from Manhattan’s West Side.
11:09PM EST: WCBSTV has informed Yeshivaworld that there is a construction crane on the roof of the building which is in danger of collapsing. In addition, two floors have collapsed already.
