Beit Shemesh City Hall announces that its phones will no longer be blocked to caller ID as is the case today. City officials feel this represents a step towards showing residents their leaders are seeking to exhibit additional transparency and an increased sensitivity to the residents of the city.
Mayor Moshe Abutbul explains that everything is open and transparent, as it should be, including the city phones, adding phone books containing the numbers of all departments and employees are being made available.
The phone books will include the names of employees, their position, contact numbers and email address in the hope of improving the connection between City Hall and residents.
