Exactly. Garner deserved a ticket. Nothing more than that.
Had he resisted arrest, Garner would be facing a potential felony. But fortunately, we have a tape of what occurred. It is clear from the film that Garner did not physically resist officers from arresting him. He was clearly upset at the situation, but did not in any way resist arrest.
Eric Garner did not resist arrest. Watch the video. He in no way physically opposed his arrest.
Garner was killed by the police officer on duty that night. No question about it.
We must protest his death and the outcome of the grand jury.
