Sukkos Holdup In North Miami Beach

aaa.gifAs a young man was walking home from a party on Wednesday night, the first night of Sukkos, a small black car with two men inside stopped near NE 8th Place and 175th Street. The driver got out and pointed a gun at the 16 year old. The passenger in the front seat also exited the vehicle and moved toward the youth. The robbers were said to be average height and in their late teens or early 20s. The thugs asked the boy for his money. The youngster announced he had none. One of the robbers, face to face with the youth, asked again for the victim’s  money.

Recognizing the robber would not take “no” for an answer and not having any money, the victim screamed for help and  ran in a zig zag pattern to the closest house and began banging on the door. No one answered the door, perhaps the neighbor was in fear he was in danger so he called the police. Another neighbor heard the screaming and came out to aid the victim. The County police arrived expeditiously. Fortunately the boy was not physically harmed. The two robbers got away. Anyone having any information on this incident is asked to call the MDPD.

  1. Zig zag pattern? LOL! Do you have a source for that? If this were the NYT, you could have attributed it to an unnamed highly-placed public official with knowledge of the matter…

  2. #4 maybe if you read a little more carefully instead of running to make fun you would have seen “The driver got out and pointed a gun at the 16 year old. “

  3. i just think that some people are too quick to find fault with this unbelieveable web site that they dont even read the whole story before they comment
