Too often, rock-throwing attacks are not even deemed “newsworthy” or they find a place among the back pages of a newspaper at best. Baruch Hashem in most cases, such attacks, which are potentially fatal, do not result in injuries but more commonly resulting in damage to a vehicle.
On Wednesday however, this was not the case for a family traveling in Shomron, between Tapuach Junction and Migdalim. The victim was a 20-month-old girl, who was struck in her face, sustaining substantial soft tissue trauma and possibly more serious damage.
