For all those that have Humane suggestions of getting it into a bag and let it loose or other sorts of humane traps, maybe you have never experienced these super fast creatures! They are so fast there is no way I could catch one in a bag!

Nor do they enter or prance into your set up humane traps. I have one set of two traps that have two little entry ways with only ability to get in and not out. (indicator of when a mouse is inside) Never had a mouse enter it.

They are fast and shrewd. So although it sounds ideal, “catch him in a garbage pail, put on the lid and let him free outdoors” unfortunately, not realistic. Even poison didn’t work. they simply didn’t touch it. These guys go for real stuff. We saw one running with a corn chip.

The ideal is to get the house mouse proofed so they cant come in altogether. Once they’re inside…just trying to do what works.
