Rav Kanievsky Asked To Give A Bracha For Mass ‘Tikun Klali’


With the international Tikun Klali just days away, Rabbanei Breslov have turned to HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita for a bracha for the success of the event, which will be broadcast from Uman on erev Rosh Hashanah.

HaRav HaChossid Ze’ev Kanflemker, a mashpia in Breslov, visited HaGaon HaRav Kanievsky this week, seeking a bracha for the success of the global event, which is expected to pull as many as 500,000 people. they will  all recite Rav Nachman’s Tikun HaKlali at the same time. Accompanying the rav was Breslov askan Duki Gruenwald, who explained to Rav Chaim how the plans were unfolding, and how the event is aired live around the world to permit global participation. The Rav expressed interest in the events and how the international tefilla event is orchestrated, Kikar Shabbat reports.

The Rav gave them a short bracha, “שיהיה לכם ברכה והצלחה בכל מעשי ידיכם”, but added another bracha for those who will recite the Tikun Klali from here, in Eretz Yisrael. When asked about the Yidden around the world who will be joining in, the Rav added “May they merit to coming to Eretz HaKodesh very soon”.

Upon leaving, Rabbi Kanflemker highlighted the event, which he stated is among the largest global happenings held by chareidi Jewry, calling upon all to take part at chatzos hayom on erev Rosh Hashanah towards a year of hatzlocha (success).

Tikun HaKlali consists of the following ten chapters of Tehillim, recited in the order listed: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137, and 150.
