An addictive personality is a person who would become addicted to any of a number of things that are available – whether they are alcohol, smoking, drugs, food, internet use, you name it. Anyone who abuses any of these things, is usually found to have a similar personality trait in common with others who are addicted to something. There is something lacking in the person’s self-esteem makeup, that directs that person to abuse something that makes them feel temporarily better. It becomes a problem, when it becomes a PROBLEM.
