Does it bother anyone when words are thrown in to a song that make no sense, but just to rhyme?
Ex:
You’re very special Mother Sarah
I will tell you why
I often think about you with a half an open eye
What does half an open eye have to do with anything?
Or (Journeys 4, Man From Vilna):
He said “no simcha is a burden, though I miss my dear late wife”
And then he shared with me a story that has changed my view of life.
Where does missing his dear late wife fit in? (You could come up with a reason here, but I still feel it is there as filler words)
