As PA (Palestinian Authority) residents assuredly await Independence Day, Jews in a number of location took to the streets, marching as their PA counterparts have been doing. The Jews marched under the banner, “This is our land”.

Marchers began from three different locations, at the home of the Fogel family in Itamar, the family targeted in a bloody massacre that claimed the lives of the parents and three children. Flags flapped in the wind as participants assured one another of their G-d-given right to the land, a right that cannot be challenged by the PA or the UN.

Other marches began in the communities of Beit El and Kiryat Arba. Hundreds reportedly took part in the Itamar march, which headed to the Chawarah Checkpoint, where they held a rally during the early evening hours.

Marchers explained the significance of their actions, the timing. The move comes “at a time when the enemy is working to create facts on the ground, to create a terrorist state in the heart of our homeland”.
