While the late leader of Neturei Karta, Moshe Hirsch was niftar last year, his legacy continues through his descendants.
Last Thursday, a chasnah of a Mir talmid was held, and it happens to be the chosson is a close friend of members of the Hirsch family. They were on hand to take part in the festival, and Yisrael Meir Hirsch (a grandson of Rabbi Moshe) did not pass up the opportunity to take the microphone and entertain the tzibur with his rendition of the Palestine national anthem.
Perhaps partially in jest and partially with serious intent, some of the chaburah indicated that after the PA (Palestinian Authority) declares statehood, they plan to relocate to the eastern area of Yerushalayim, the capital of Palestine. The unnamed family member added that another possibility would be annexing Meah Shearim to the new Arab state.

This should be a lesson to all of us who believe we don’t need a Rebbe to guide us. Maybe this year we should, as Rabbi Miller used to say, find a Rav, a Rosh Yeshivah, a Rebbe, etc., but seek and take guidance. Be part of the mesorah. K’sivah va’chasimah tovah to one and all.

We shouldn’t be giving these people attention. They are going far beyond what the Satmar Rav supported. The obvious does not require proof, but it is well known that the Chazon Ish referrred to teh Neturai Karta as pre-Matan Torah Yidden, i.e., that their Kanoas is not based on the Torah. The Gedolim never supported such behavior.
