An 18-month-old baby has been transported to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim in serious condition after he was found abandoned and dehydrated in a vehicle on Recov Rabbi Akiva in Betar Illit on Erev Yom Tov. Hatzolah units arriving on the scene smashed the window and removed the baby.
