For the second time in a week, a vandalism attack was perpetrated against a shul in Jerusalem’s Beis Yisrael community. The latest incident occurred on Tuesday night, involving juvenile youths. Once again, the walls of the shul were spray painted with derogatory epithets including “Nazi dogs”. The Mir building was also targeted in the latest incident.
This time however, dozens took off after the youth, and one community resident succeeded in apprehending him. The perpetrator however brandished a knife, compelling his captor to release his arm, thereby permitting him to flee the scene.
