We should all strive to remember that Derech Eretz Kadma L’Torah, and the best way to make ourselves heard, is to speak with Derech Eretz, even when we disagree with someone’s opinion. Imagining that the person to whom we are responding might be our Rov, rebbie, best friend, parent, sibling, is a good way to approach this.
