The President spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Friday about the situation at the Israeli Embassy in Cairo. The President expressed his great concern about the situation at the Embassy, and the security of the Israelis serving there. He reviewed the steps that the U.S. is taking at all levels to help resolve the situation without further violence, and to call on the Government of Egypt to honor its international obligations to safeguard the security of the Israeli Embassy.
The President and the Prime Minister agreed to stay in close touch until the situation is resolved.

Yaaawn!!! Obama is off to the golf course again. Perhaps that’s because once he toss his sorry self out of there, not a single country club will allow a person like him to play there?
It seems this news item is starting in middle of a story. Was there a previous article as to what happened or are YWN readers expected to get their news from other sources and then come to read YWN’s take on the news??
