i think michigan dosent take points from other states.a lawyer wont help you.an honest lawyer will tell you its a losing battle in S.I.The highway patrol officers have their testimony down to a science,and you wont catch them making a mistake even if they didnt use laser or radar and just paced you.plus ther are only two administrative law judges,who both are impossible to win by, especially brian levine who has the highest conviction rate in the whole 5 boroughs.(just google traffic court staten island)got caught going 27 over on the 440,and two other tickets there .so have a little experience with the court there.you can push it off at least twice with paying a bond the 2nd time but go to a diff borough to do that bec levine doesnt like pushing it off.
