Avhaben: Are you saying that because our Avonos caused the Beis Hamikdash to be destroyed that there is no reason to be happy when it is rebuilt? If we never would have sinned then we never would have lost it. Regaining Yerushlayim is a reason to thank HKBH, regardless of how we lost it and how we got it back (also, see my earlier post).
