Lakewood, NJ – A family is lucky to be alive this evening after the car they were driving in was struck by a falling tree. The family – with several young children in the vehicle – was driving on North Lake Drive when a large tree came crashing down on the car, crushing the windshield and roof and knocking out the back window.

Hatzolah was called but the family managed to climb out uninjured.

Chaveirim and LCSW was called by LPD to cut up and remove the tree which blocked the roadway.
