Maybe the collectors don’t visit you because they prefer to concentrate on the wealthier people, in order to maximize the amount of tzedaka they can receive in a limited amount of time. I thought they were given lists of addresses, so I’d like to think that they are not choosing where to visit based on where they think they’ll get drinks.
