I trained as a programmer, but always thought about being a teacher and/or a therapist. Being married with kids has changed lots of things (ie time limitations, caring more for meaning in life etc) and I now seriously regret not having trained in therapy and/or teaching…
SO my suggestion is to make a list of the top 2 or 3 things you’re THINKING about (even if you think it’s not going to make enough money but will fulfill you, or you think one option might drain you emotionally or otherwise but later in life it might not, circumstances change) and train in BOTH or all three!! you can major in anything (Even liberal arts) but make sure you have the training to do any of the things you feel are “you” or even potentially/partially you, as later in life there may be time and financial constraints to going back to school…
