If you don’t mind a tangent – My first grader was told to write a letter of thanks to a community worker from whom she benefitted. She wrote a letter to her older brother thanking him for shoveling the sidewalk and keeping her shoes clean!
My husband goes out to the car well before I leave and turns it on so the heat will be full blast when I get to the car.
