I actually know someone who had told a person while he was dating about the girl he was dating. After he got engaged, the person that he had been talking to asked him for shadchanus money. He replied, “you didn’t do anything to help! Why should I pay you?” The guy replied back, “well you should pay me because I didn’t say anything!”
